DataLynx, Inc. was founded in 1996 by Jerry D. Bedell of Texas. In 2008, Corporate InfoManagement, Inc. acquired ADL to create its new DataLynx division. This division adds scaleability and standardization to an already ingenious software product, the DataLynx Online System. History: From 1996 - 2007, ADL's focus was the seamless integration of point of sale data into other software systems. ADL's first product was a POS-general ledger integration program created to address a recognized void of integrating financial data from point-of-sale systems into the QuickBooks general ledger. This program, A2Z, was marketed and sold to Midas franchisees located throughout the United States. With the principal owner being a CPA with considerable Midas franchisee experience, this program was very successful in synchronizing a customer's data sources, and getting their financial records accurate and timely. Customers were able to utilize A2Z together with professional advice from ADL to get their financial records generated, cost-effectively, accurately and timely. Realizing that the developing and marketing software packages was expensive and maintenance intensive, ADL made a decision to change it's focus from being a software developer/seller to an online service. On March, 1999, a new system was introduced - A2Z Online. This online system was enhanced to address the following Create a data warehouse that can be used for all types of data analysis, reporting, etc. Create an online reporting system to provide an efficient means of disseminating information Create an efficient Internet data communication vehicle for data transfers; Expand the data conversion engine to handle multiple owners, entities, multiple pos systems, etc. Provide for system checks ensuring data integrity This system was widely accepted by customers throughout the United States and Canada. In January 2002, ADL introduced its newest system - The DataLynx Information System. This system is ADL's most powerful, dynamic system yet. It was professionally designed and built and possesses a wide range of features and capabilities that allowed ADL to satisfy it's customers demands for many years. Today: The DataLynx Online System has evolved into a set of high-performance reporting and integration data warehouses, capable of summarizing the operations of large corporations with thousands of reporting entities, as well as feed data seemlessly to authorized, external partners. DataLynx supports the integration of the most popular POS systems used in the automotive industry.
